The series is a YA Sci-Fi and opens in the distant future with humanity stranded on another planet under constant bombardment from alien forces. But it’s important enough for Brandon to separate out the Cytoverse on his website, so there must be big plans ahead for the series. The Cytoverse is Brandon Sanderson’s other big project, and it’s relatively new.
